The Battery Eliminator allows you to use your portable transceiver in the car without the risk of emptying your battery pack.
Replace the original Battery Pack by the Battery Eliminator and plug in to the cigarette lighter.
Now you have direct current to the transceiver in stead of using/emptying the battery pack.
