The factory will set the AM/FM carrier from 1-15 Watts. Can be regulated by using the Power Control on the front panel.
Do not readjust FM carrier to exeed 20 Watts.
Using correct measuring equipment will read 80 Watts PEP on AM and 65 - 70 Watts PEP SSB.
If you want to loosen the SSB ALC do not exeed 7.7 Amps using 2-tone test.

Please refer to the owners manual addendum. For SSB transmit the RF Power Control and Mike Gain Control must be set full CW (clock wise). To lower the RF Output power on SSB reduce the mike gain control to desired level.
